At Hangar, your satisfaction matters. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, you can return it under the conditions below.
1. Right of Withdrawal (14 + 14 Days)
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw within this period. Notification can be done by email (info@thehangar.be), via our contact form, or by any other clear statement (e.g., registered letter).

After notifying us, you then have an additional 14 days to return the item.

The item must be returned in its original condition. Items that are used, damaged, or not returned in their original packaging may still be returned, but The Hangar may deduct a reduction in value from the refund, in line with the condition of the item.

Custom-made or personalized items cannot be returned.
2. How to Return an Item

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service.
3. Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you. If approved, your refund will be issued within 14 days to your original payment method.
Important: Shipping costs (both initial and return) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., damaged or wrong item).
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@thehangar.be, including:

Clear photos of the product and packaging
We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund (including shipping) in such cases.

In the case of defects or hidden damage, Belgian law (Art. 1649quater, §2 of the Civil Code) grants you a legal guarantee. You have two months after discovering the defect to notify The Hangar. Depending on the situation, The Hangar must repair, replace, or refund the item. This legal guarantee may not be reduced.
5. Shipping and Delivery – Transfer of Risk
Delivery takes place when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer (not the carrier), physically receives the goods. Only at that moment does the risk of loss or damage transfer to the consumer.
Until then, transport is at the risk of The Hangar.
If a package is lost or damaged during delivery, The Hangar remains responsible and will either resend the order or refund the consumer.
6. Exceptions
We do not accept returns for:
