PAWSA

PAWSA is a London-based DJ, producer, and label owner known for his distinctive, groove-led take on tech-house; stripped-back, impactful, and built with the dancefloor in mind. With a focus on rolling percussion, clever sampling, and understated hooks, his sound draws on influences from classic house and hip-hop, all shaped through a modern minimal-leaning lens.

Since first emerging in the mid-2010s, PAWSA has built a reputation not only through his productions, but through the foundations he’s laid for others. In 2015, he co-founded Solid Grooves with Michael Bibi, now one of the UK’s leading underground imprints and event series, before launching his own label PAWZ in 2017 as a more personal creative outlet. Both platforms continue to define the sound of a new generation of club music.

In recent years, PAWSA has delivered a string of chart-topping releases, including multiple Beatport #1s such as 'PICK UP THE PHONE' featuring Nate Dogg, 'Dirty Cash (Money Talks)' with the Adventures of Stevie V, and 'TOO COOL TO BE CARELESS'. Placing him at the forefront of the scene, headlining renowned institutions and leading festivals across the globe, his trademark sound, enigmatic personality and forward thinking vision have solidified him as an artist at the top of his game, with tracks like 'BANG BANG' featuring Malachiii and 'COLLECT THE COMMAS' further reinforcing his reputation as a talent known for creating high-impact records with a lasting presence.

His influence hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2024 alone, PAWSA was named Beatport’s Producer of the Year and Best Producer at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards, having previously already won the same title in 2021. In addition, Solid Grooves was also awarded Best Label at DJ Mag's Best of British Awards in 2023, and he stands today as one of Beatport's Top 10 Best-Selling House Artists of All Time.

Reserved by nature but an individual whose journey has taken him to the front of the pack, PAWSA continues to shape the direction of modern house music; not through noise, but through precision, consistency, and a clear musical identity that is entirely his own.e.
